I embrace every single opportunity, finding something new and surprising with each experience, driven primarily by each individual I have had the privilege to work with, and each situation I am touched by.
I love being surprised by a sudden shift in the process, and being open to a change of direction. In addition to this, any brief I have been presented with, or theme I have brought into the creative process, has always been developed and explored with a collaborative approach, working as a collective throughout both, the process, listening and giving space for each idea to be heard and evolve, and thus arriving at the final outcome together. Even on solo ventures, I have collaborated with mentors and fellow practitioners, to witness and hold the space, and to exercise creative challenges together.
Not one way can possibly fit each creative process, and those individuals on the journey with you. I love to draw on life; people, situations, emotional states, time and place and the absurdities, pain and hilarity, which come with it.
